Oh, my Lord, how obvious it is that you are almighty! There is no need to understand the reasons for your commands. So long as we love and obey you, we can be certain that you will direct us on to the right path. And as we tread that path, we will know that it is your power and love that has put us there. It is as if the path which leads to you is narrow and rough, with steep cliffs on either side plunging down into dark valleys. Yet the path on which you have put me is a royal road, broad and smooth. It is safe for anyone who chooses it. And your Son holds the hand of all who walk on it. If we become tired or discouraged, we need only look up to see your smiling face in the distance inviting us to share your joy. (Teresa of Avila)

Oh how obvious it is that He is almighty. Joanne our little story of connection just gets better. Here I am posting before you and what I wrote was in response to your obedience to his command yesterday. Look at God!
Lisha, only our God could do such a beautiful job with orchestration 🙂
Dear Joanne
Oh that life in Jesus is at the same time narrow, and yet so broad. When He takes our hands and leads us to a place of intimacy, it seems as if the whole universe cannot contain that joy!

Mia – He truly is both narrow & broad at the same time. So glad you shared that insight!
What a blessing it is to have GOD as our deliverer and rescuer. There is no darkness or pit that HE can not rescue us from.
Amen!
“…because He delighted…” that right there is pretty darn amazing. How blessed to know that because of His love for us we are able to walk the path set before us.
How merciful & gracious to us our God is!
I particularly like this. “Yet the path on which you have put me is a royal road, broad and smooth. It is safe for anyone who chooses it. And your Son holds the hand of all who walk on it.” Comforting isn’t it!!! Wishing you a grand day!!!
May we never let go of His hand! So glad that you shared here with me!
He rescued me because he delighted in me. What a wonderful scripture! So nice to know that He delights in us every day! Great post, Joanne!
