The Lord is my peace. I shall not live in anxiety. He puts me under His wing of comfort and calms my spirit within me. He takes all my anxieties on Himself and helps me to focus on Him. Yes, though I walk through a time of grave uncertainties and fierce anxieties, I will not fret – for You are my peace. Your Word and Your Presence calm me now. You hold my uncertainties in the palm of Your hand. You soothe my anxious mind – You smooth my wrinkled brow. Surely serenity and trust in You shall fill me all the days of my life. And I shall keep my mind stayed on You forever.

Let God hold you.
Thank you!
You are welcome.
This is a beautiful shot, and a beautiful sentiment. Thank you for the reminder!
“The Lord is my peaces…” such a beautiful truth to cling too!
Thank you so much for sharing this – it’s absolutely perfect! And thanks for linking to Still Saturday. God is always good!
I’m so grateful that He holds those uncertainties. I may worry about them from time to time (well, I probably do it more often than that!) but He holds on to them and works for my good in them. Great post today!
Dear Joanne
What a great quote! This is so true and such a great comfort. Thanks for sharing.

Have read the book about 5 years ago. Nice to see that. AND the photo is great. Nice mix… to share the Lord, pour the Lord in our hearts and everyday lives. Thank you.
I love her books š It is so good to pull them out every once in a while & browse through her words of wisdom and truth.
Great thoughts! Reads like a paraphrase of the 91st Psalm. š Thanks for posting! Have a blessed week!
Such a great quote!
I’m visiting from Scripture and a Snapshot.
I loved this book! I can’t wait to read it again and soak in her wonderful words! Thanks so much for sharing them!
Carrie – It is so true that her books can be read again & again. I pull them off my shelf every now & then (like I did when I read this post) to soak up a thought. I can always find a chapter that speaks to me. Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great Tues.,
Joanne
