“Why do You stand afar off, O Lord? Why do You hide Yourself in times of trouble?”
(Psalm 10:1, NASB)
“That’s a good lesson for us to learn. Don’t base your judgments only on your feelings. Build your life on faith. Faith says, “I’m going to trust God no matter what I see, no matter what I think and no matter how I feel.” Faith does not mean we are ignorant. It means we are walking in the will of God because we know the Word of God …
When it seems as if God is far away, remind yourself that He is near. Nearness is not a matter of geography. God is everywhere. Nearness is likeness. The more we become like the Lord, the nearer He is to us.”

Good words, my friend! Good words!💕
So many good things in this excerpt! Not relying on feelings, walking in the will of God because we know the Word of God, nearness is not a matter of geography. . . all wise and needful reminders.
Good wisdom and needed encouragement today! We can know God is near because he promises to be with us always, so we don’t have to rely on our feelings- which are notoriously unreliable!
Good reminder. I often remind myself that God says not to worry, but to trust. He is in control. Thank you for the reminder that he is always with us. Happy Sunday.
