“How blessed is he who keeps waiting …” (Daniel 12:12, NASB)
“Waiting may seem like an easy thing to do, but it is a discipline …
Wait in prayer …
Wait in faith …
I will wait even if You keep me here many days, for my heart is fixed on You alone, dear Lord. And my spirit will wait for You with full confidence that You will still be my joy and my salvation, ‘for You have been my refuge [and] a strong tower against the for’ [Psalm 61:3].” from Morning by Morning
Wait, patiently wait,
God is never late;
Your budding plans are in Your Father’s holding,
And only wait His grand divine unfolding.”

It really is a celebration of waiting fulfilled! Daniel knew so well.
Thank you so much for posting this. I so needed this verse, this devotional and reminder. My heart is comforted.
I am not a patient waiter most of the time, but some things are worth the wait.
“Wait patiently wait, God is never late.” What comforting words! In these times of conflict and loneliness, knowing God’s plan is in place is reassuring. Thank you, Joanne.
His timing is different from mine, but he is never late. I do need to be patient and wait on him. Thank you
