Today is Sunday, the first day of a new week. May this be our prayer this week!
O Spirit of God, we ask you to help orient
all our actions by your inspirations,
carry them on by your gracious assistance,
that every prayer and work of ours
may always begin from you
and through you be happily ended.(a prayer of St. Ignatius, http://www.ignatianspirituality.com)
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6 NIV).
Today I am linking with The Sunday Community and Sunday Stillness and Spiritual Sundays and A Heart Reflected .
Glory to God! I am already thanking HIM for the completed work!
🙂 He leaves no work incomplete. May you rest in that.
Blessings,
Joanne

Gotta love St. Ignatius. And that verse you copied about completing the good work in us…that is so encouraging for me. I LOVE that one. Sometimes it seems like I am getting nowhere, but he is working in me.
Great post! I’m going to follow you by email 🙂
Happy Sunday,
Ceil
May we remember that He is always at work & never abandons what He has started. Thank you for stopping by & leaving a comment & for the follow. May we continue to bless one another.

I enjoy my prayer time with the Lord. I feel like He is listening only to me if just for a moment. I am happy that I came by today. The words you share are good and encouraging. Have a beautiful week
