A Prayer For Inspiration & Assistance

Today is Sunday, the first day of a new week. May this be our prayer this week!

O Spirit of God, we ask you to help orient
all our actions by your inspirations,
carry them on by your gracious assistance,
that every prayer and work of ours
may always begin from you
and through you be happily ended.

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6 NIV).

    Gotta love St. Ignatius. And that verse you copied about completing the good work in us…that is so encouraging for me. I LOVE that one. Sometimes it seems like I am getting nowhere, but he is working in me.

    I enjoy my prayer time with the Lord. I feel like He is listening only to me if just for a moment. I am happy that I came by today. The words you share are good and encouraging. Have a beautiful week
