A day in the life of a mom will often find a woman who does not stop all day. Her focus remains on her children, her husband, her career, her home and the many tasks demanding her attention.
Busyness can often rob a mom of the many blessings all around her.
In Gratitude – Mom Devotional: Prayers to Pause, Reflect, and Give Thanks, Jenifer Metzger brings encouragement to shift that focus and so train your mind to be grateful in the good and the bad, the easy and the hard days.
With 70 devotional readings, there are varied topics which every woman will be able to relate – dirty dishes, friendship, your body, mounting laundry, dinner, laughter, and bedtime, and more.
Each reading begins with a Scripture, a short encouraging read, a prayer, a space to write down one’s thoughts.
Cultivating gratitude helps us to find reasons to be thankful each and every day. It helps us to walk in the truth that God is always good and always blessings us, which means we always have reason to give thanks.
This is a devotional every mom will find meaningful and relevant to life. It’s a small book with short readings making it easy for a busy mom to make time for in the middle of any busy day. It’s a book sure to bring encouragement to any mom.

Don’t you just love that there’s a little devotional guidebook written for every season we walk through! I would have enjoyed this way back in the day.
It sounds like a wonderful book! I’ve been writing down a list of things I’m grateful for at the start of each day for about eight years now””it certainly has cut down on my whining and complaining!
Thank you so much for sharing Joanne! I appreciate you! â¤ï¸
Joanne, what a lovely devotional guide, thank you for sharing this great help for Moms!
Thanks for sharing this devotional, Joanne. Going to order for my daughter.
Cultivating gratitude as a mom can be so helpful. Sometimes we are knee deep in stuff that we need to be reminded to be grateful for what we have. Our culture tends to whine and complain and we can easily fall into this habit. Gratitude helps us acknowledge our blessings.
Thank you, Joanne, for this encouragement through Jennifer’s devotional on Gratitude. It’s a habit I need to renew each day.
I think I’ll order the book.
Blessings, Janis Russo Van Keuren
