“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”
(1 Peter 5:6-7, NLT)
“The almighty God of the universe cares about the ins and outs of your daily life. He is not an indifferent, uninvolved God, leaving you to fend for yourself. He is personal and present, desiring that you should cast your anxieties on Him.
In the stormy seas of life, He is the only thing that remains steadfast and unshakeable. Unless you are holding on to Him, you will be tossed unceasingly on the waves.
So how do you let go? You can begin by humbling yourself before God, acknowledging His might and ability to care for you. You can bask in the incredible knowledge that He eagerly desire to relieve you of your burdens.
Prayer: Mighty God, thank you for being my anchor.

Today I am joining … Spiritual Sundays and Scripture & a Snapshot and Selah .
Sometimes I feel like that little rowboat, tossed about in stormy seas. Thank you for the reminder that God is there to anchor us if we seek Him.
He is always and faithfully with us – even in the stormiest of seas.
Such a good reminder. I try to hold on to control and live in fear. I am learning to let go and He is teaching me about deeper trust! Thank you for sharing this!
He is so patient to teach and lead us to trust Him deeper. Blessings!
A good reminder that I needed this week. Thank you for sharing!
What an important truth – that He eagerly desires to relieve us of our burdens! Thank you for this, Joanne.
