“So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.” (1 Peter 1:13, NLT)
“Your hope is both a present down payment and a future possession.
Like an anchor, your hope goes deep and takes hold, grounded in grace that will come. Nothing can move you off course.
You are able to grab ahold of that future hope of God’s grace because of what it has already done. Your salvation is a completed act; you already have the eternal life that you will enter more fully when you reach heaven.
“Hope. . .can base our present reality on future grace” (Chris Tiegreen, The One Year Walk with God Devotional).
Prayer: Eternal God, let me live in light of Your grace that sustains me in the present and gives me hope for the future.”

Today I am joining … Spiritual Sundays and Scripture & a Snapshot and Selah .
How simple, beautiful, and true – hope grounded in grace. Thank you for sharing this beautiful Scripture.
Truly, where would we be without hope? And praise God, our hope is firm because of what God has already done for us. Amen.
