“And how much more valuable you are than birds!” (Luke 12:24, NIV)
Busy birds!
We can learn a lot from watching birds. Over time, humans have accelerated their lives to a breakneck pace and have set goals for which God never meant them to live …
It;s not a bad thing to make plans – it’s just a stifling thing to live for those plans. God want you instead to keep going about the business He has created you to do – to love one another, to tell others about Jesus, and to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. To seek His kingdom first, and then all the rest will fall into place. That is His promise! And if this God of yours, who created such beautiful little feathered creatures, sees fit to take care of their needs, do you really believe He will neglect yours?
Prayer: Father God, teach me to avoid fretting about tomorrow. Amen.

I love the tender reminder of Jesus’ care for me each time I see a bird flitting here and there.
Me too, Elizabeth. Tender, amazing, and always what we need. Blessings!
Hummingbirds are my personal favorite! Thanks for this reminder to the plan-maker in me to not let my plans stifle me!
Julie, it’s true – our plans will stifle us if they are also not in His plan.
Yes no fretting! Love this, seen two hummingbirds yesterday!
Jennie, I have to figure out how to attract them into our yard 🙂
