Father, thank You that You are able to accomplish what concerns me today
(Psalm 138:8). You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). You are able because You are sovereign. There is nothing too hard for You. Continue to engrave upon my heart the reality that I am to walk by faith. I believe what Your Word says, that You have made some exceedingly great and precious promises. Seal these promises to my heart. Don’t let the enemy snatch away this seed You have sown, but let my life reflect the stability of knowing that You see and know and are at work on my behalf. Thank You, that You are in control. In Jesus’ strong name, Amen.(taken from Always True [God’s 5 promises when life is hard] by James MacDonald, page 72)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Today I am joining … Give Me Grace and Still Saturday and Sunday Stillness and Spiritual Sundays and Scripture & A Snapshot .
Thanks for the reminder that there is nothing too hard for our God. Happy Sunday, friend!
Hope you don’t get much more snow & wind. Enjoy a day of resting as you stay put!
Oh, that picture of bean planting! We’re in the midst of a blizzard today, but I can feel the smooth seeds slide through my fingers into the warm dirt. Glad to have found your post at Still Saturday.
Michele, we are in the middle of a blizzard today as well. Which state are you in? I so agree – it will be a most wonderful feeling to get fingers into the dirt once again. Something tells me it is going to take a bit for all our snow to melt:) Thank you for following my blog as well. May you always find encouragement here. Blessings!
I’m in Maine! Actually, we’re thankful that the meteorologists over-estimated our snowfall! Even so, it’s going to be a while before I start my garden, for sure!
So not too far. It truly has been a most memorable winter. So grateful for the hope of spring 🙂
Joanne, `Always True` is a very good book.
I reviewed it several years ago.
I can surely tell a difference between my reviews now, than then.
The giveaway has since expired, but here is the link to my review.

I have gone back to this book several times since reading it. It always rings true (no pun intended) but it was fun 🙂
What a beautiful prayer (and Bible verse from Proverbs)! I live in Indiana and we got snow and freezing temps, as well! I love Maine!! We took a 2 week vacation along the coast last summer and want to go back some day! But, probably not in the winter 😉 Thanks for sharing! Have a blessed week!
Maine is a beautiful state but I’m with you on this >> I want to visit there in the summer 🙂
Love this!
