Need to share a truth that I am struck with this afternoon:
“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.â€Â                  (Isaiah 40:8 NIV).
I especially like the way it is worded in this version:
“The grass dries up,the flowers wither,but the decree of our God is forever reliable.†(NET)
Know what that word reliable means?
According to the dictionary, it means: “dependable to achieve”.
How amazing is that?
God spoke His very words & had it written down for us today. And today it is just as much an achieving word as it was when it was written. His words = action.
