It’s been quite a summer of hot and humid weather. The hum of air conditioning brings pleasant and needed relief to those of us who find ourselves uncomfortable.
But a quick look out our front window tells me not everything is unhappy with the weather. The hydrangeas in our yard have been most amazing. They obviously thrived in heat waves and produced the most numerous blooms and vibrant colors.
Our lives have seasons of emptiness and growth; sadness and joy; disruption and peace. We welcome some seasons and look to avoid others. Yet all all necessary in order for us to learn and thrive and move forward in God’s purposes.
So what are we supposed to do when we find ourselves in an unwanted season?
We remember that our God has no end. No end to His ability or His capability. There is nothing which He is unable to do.
He creates out of nothing. Provides much from little. He is always at work in every season.
The desert you may find yourself in today, may just be more than what is meeting the eye. It may not be as void and empty as it appears.
We are talking about seasons of change and the purpose they may serve in our lives. I hope you will join us at Woman to Woman Ministries HERE.
