“For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.” (Psalm 86:5, NASB)
“The psalmist gives us a number of encouragements to pray. First, remember who God is. Never forget His attributes. The better we know Him, the better we are able to pray …
Second, remember what God does …
Third, remember what God promises …
Remember who God is, the kind of God to whom you are praying. Remember the great and wonderful things He does. He can do the impossible for you today. And remember, He promises to answer.”

Today I am joining … Scripture & a Snapshot .
Who God is, what he says, and what he promises–let’s stay close to him and close to the truth!
What a comfort and encouragement! Keep praying!
Amen. Keep praying and know that God is hearing every prayer.
Thank you Joanne. I love it. I will search for this book, written by Wiersbe.
I love that this focus is on God and not our needs. He wants us to bring our needs to Him, but also to know Him better and trust Him more.
