“The righteous cry, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.”
(Psalm 34:17-18, NASB)
“Maybe your rainbows have been smashed and you have a broken heart. Perhaps you don’t feel close to God because of your heartache … Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. Remember that God knows the meaning of a broken heart. Jesus literally experienced one … Let your experiences make you more like Jesus, and He will draw near to you.
Give the Lord all the pieces, and He will heal you.
Everyone has experienced dashed hopes and smashed plans. Take comfort in knowing that your Lord heals the broken heart … The Lord understands what you are going through. Draw near to Him with a humble spirit and give Him the broken pieces of your heart.”

Today I am joining … Scripture & a Snapshot .
Wow, does this ever hit home, especially in these days. It’s comforting that He knows what it is like to have a broken heart and can mend it like no one else.
I’m so grateful He sees and comes alongside of every broken heart. All we need to do is bring Him the pieces.
Precious comfort can be found when we draw near to God. Amen.
So grateful for the comfort He brings every hurting heart.
What a beautiful and comforting reminder. I’m so thankful that God holds me close when my heart hurts.
Me too. He brings such peace in these days.
