“He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season.” (Psalm 1:3a, NASB)
“God delights in blessing His children. But we must prepare ourselves for His blessings by first appropriating the resources He has given us. Delight in the Word of God and feed on it. But do more than occasionally read the Word; meditate on it constantly. Make it your source of spiritual nourishment, and God will bless you with strength and stability.”

Today I am joining … Scripture & a Snapshot and Sunday Scripture Blessings and Selah .
Yes! I want to intentionally feed on truth in 2022!
Yes, may we come intentionally to His table to partake!
And as another new year begins, a time for tuning in better to His word. I need to stand more firm along with his blessings.
We so need these reminders. May we stand more firm in His Word.
I am thankful to be able to study His Word. I need that spiritual nourishment every day.
I do as well, Melissa. Now is not the time for us to be malnourished.
I love Wiersbe’s writings–so clear and practical and grounded in truth. God uses His Word to teach and bless us and show us Himself, so it’s imperative we delve into it regularly.
I love his writings too. I am using a devotional of his this year and so, each Sunday I will be sharing something of his I read that week in the hopes it will bless others too.
