“I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders.”
(Psalm 9:1, NASB)
“I must confess that there are times when I don’t praise the Lord with my whole heart …
Granted, there are times when it’s hard to praise Him …
Don’t praise God only about circumstances; praise Him for who He is … Maybe you can’t rejoice in your circumstances or in the way you feel. Maybe you can’t even rejoice in the plans that are made for you today, but you always can rejoice in the Lord. You can rejoice in the Lord today because He is worthy of your praise …
David didn’t quite understand all that God was doing, but he knew that God knew what He was doing …
God knows what is going on in your life.”

Today I am joining … Scripture & a Snapshot and Sunday Scripture Blessings .
ALL means all, and that’s all ALL means…
I am afraid that I fall short with my often divided heart.
The words of the psalmist and Wiersbe were very convicting for me as well.
Good to remember…God knows what he’s doing. I like that because so many times, I/we don’t grasp what God is doing. Usually later, it is explained and then we can conceive.
God knows His plan and purpose. May we trust Him at all times.
Thank you Joanne! I needed to be reminded of this today. I so easily forget to Rejoice in the Lord when I am dealing with my emotional and physical struggles. â¤ðŸ™
Not easy but He can be trusted. Prayed for you, Kathleen.
I give thanks to God. I give thanks with a grateful heart.
And now you have me humming the old song, Give thanks with a grateful heart.
“David didn’t quite understand all that God was doing, but he knew that God knew what He was doing.” That’s so often the case, isn’t it? We can rejoice in Him even in bad or confusing circumstances because He always loves us and will always do what is right and best.
That truly is it, Barbara. He knows what is needed and good and best.
