“There we saw the giants.” (Numbers 13:33, NKJV)
“Yes, the Israeli spies saw giants, but Joshua and Caleb saw God!
Giants represent great difficulties, and they stalk us everywhere. They are in our families, in our churches, our social life, and even in our hearts. We must overcome them or they will devour us, just as the ancient Israelites …Â
We encounter giants only when we are serving God and following Him. It was when Israel was going forward that the giants appeared, for when they turned back into the wilderness, they found none.
We should exhibit faith as did Joshua and Caleb … In effect, they told the others, “We will be stronger by overcoming them than if there had been no giants to defeat.”

Stronger in the overcoming!
This is a healthy and helpful perspective on our giants!
Perfect way to defeat all the giants and obstacles. Pray in the face of them. Happy week. Like the song. Had never heard it.
May we always look to the God who can slay any giant.
What a great lesson – never thought about it that way before, that we don’t encounter the giants until we are moving forward in God’s plan.
