This is so true! I am reminded of the passage in which someone asks Jesus, that “if he is able”, he heals their sick loved one (I can’t remember where in the Gospel this was). Anyway, Jesus’ response is very telling.
Astrid, I believe you are referring to Mark 9:23, when the disciples could not help the man with the son who was possessed. When the father explained the situation to Jesus, the father said, “But if You can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” Jesus then responded, “If You can? All things are possible to him who believe.”

The Greek expression certainly takes this promise to the next level, doesn’t it? Not only is God ABLE, he is ABLE beyond my wildest imagination! I needed this reminder and challenge to trust him completely. Thank you.
