Stories are a wonderful means for us all to learn lessons that will remain with us for years to come.
A Better Ending, by Doreen Tamminga, is a collection of delightful stories for boys and girls. Each story is told in a winsome manner making them relatable.
The stories take place in the ordinary days and experiences of varied characters, and each one brings a truth from God’s Word to encourage the reader to think about their actions. The book is ideal for children ages 9-12.
Children will find themselves thinking about the actions of the characters and will learn, and find encouragement, for when they face similar situations. The stories take place in school, at home, with family and friends, in community, and with pets.
In between each story, children will find a poem written with a theme from Scriptures.
Topics covered, either in story or poem form, are caring for one another, contentment, faith, family relationships, holiness, prayer, obedience, salvation, and trusting God.
Coloring pages can also be found at the author’s website which can be printed: HERE.
This is a book which can easily be adapted to be read alone as a reader, together as a family for devotions, or in a group. This makes a wonderful addition to any personal, school, or church library and is sure to be enjoyed and inspire young readers to look to God.

Sounds like a fun book to be enjoyed with grandchildren!
It sounds like a wonderful book! I am always looking for new books to read to my son, so this was a sweet one to read about since it seems to teach such important Christian values in an approachable, child-friendly way.
