“When the Lord saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, “Moses! Moses!” “Here I am!” Moses replied.” (Exodus 3:4, NLT)
“Readiness for God means that we are prepared to do the smallest thing or the largest thing – it makes no difference. It means we have no choice in what we want to do, but that whatever God’s plans may be, we are there and ready …
Be ready for the sudden surprise visits of God. A ready person never needs to get ready – he is ready. Think of the time we waste trying to get ready once God has called. The burning bush is a symbol of everything that surrounds a person who is ready, and it is on fire with the presence of God Himself.”

To live ready…what a powerful thought.
This makes me wonder how many sudden and surprise visits I miss!
Me too!
So true. Whatever each day brings, God is in control, and he only wants the best. What a great reminder with the bush, and how he does visit. I’m sure I have missed some, but will love having many more. Stay well.
Thank you for the encouraging words on my post this morning. 🙂
A great way to be ready for God at all times.
Oh, that’s a good thought – to be ready all the time, instead of needing to get ready. Love it!
