“And so, King Agrippa, I obeyed that vision from heaven.” (Acts 26:19, NLT)
“Waiting for a vision that “tarries” is the true test of our faithfulness to God.
Watch for the storms of God. The only way God plants His saints is through the whirlwind of His storms. Will you be proven to be an empty pod with no seed inside? That will depend on whether or not you are actually living in the light of the vision you have seen. Let God send you out through His storm, and don’t go until He does. If you select your own spot to be planted, you will prove to yourself to be an unproductive, empty pod. However, if you allow God to plant you, you will “bear much fruit” (John 15:8).

This is so enlightening, Joanne. God places us for a planting, and he picks the spot.
To think of ourselves as seeds…of hope, of God’s love…what a garden we are!
That part of scriptures really gives me pause, with more questions than answers. I pray I am rightly planted, but then there is always doubting Thomas in me. But, your scripture, this morning, does give hope that I am where God wants me. Have a good week ahead.
Oh, to submit to God’s planting without fighting against God! I can be so willful, I’m ashamed to admit.
I don’t know enough about plants to do a good job with my own garden, so I let my greenhouse manager husband make all the decisions. Makes sense to trust God with where to plant me as well!
