“The king said to him, “May your God, who you serve so faithfully, rescue you.”
(Daniel 6:16, NLT)
“Look at Jonah in the fish belly…
Look at Daniel in the lions’ den …
Or look at Joseph in the pit …
Such are the stories in the Bible. One near death experience after another. Just when the neck is on the chopping block, just when the noose is around the neck, Calvary comes.”

Love those words from a pagan king.
May we also serve faithfully so that others will look at us in expectation of whatever God might do!
As we stand firm, others will come to recognize God at work in our circumstances.
Although not quite so dramatically as these Bible stories, I’ve had the Lord rescue my neck from the noose on more than one occasion!
Me as well, and it is most humbling.
He will rescue us that’s for sure.
Amen!
What a testimony Daniel’s life had been even before God saved him from the lions!
It’s true, isn’t it!
