“I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior – yes, the Messiah, the Lord – has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped in snugly strips of cloth, lying in a manger.” (Luke 2:10b-12, NLT)
Jesus came that first Christmas to both the shepherds and the wise men. Shepherds – the lowliest occupation. Wise men – knowledgeable, intellectuals.
Yet He came to them both.
Jesus still comes to the simple and to the sophisticated.
Jesus comes to every heart prepared for Him.
