As a grandparent, it was a privilege to be given the opportunity to review this Bible for girls.
The Inspire Bible for Girls is beautifully bound and sure to delight every young girl. The combination of the cover colors, which are a soft pink and turquoise, and the accents, which have sparkle to them, are sure to draw a girl into opening the pages.
Written in the New Living Translation makes this a version which is easy to read, understand, and absorb. This is a creative journaling Bible which includes prayers, coloring pages, and key truths sure to help girls grow more deeply in their faith.
These added features were a bonus:
- Beautiful 2-color interior
- 500+ line-art illustrations to color – including over 75 new designs
- 300+ devotional readings and prayers written just for girls
- 160+ journaling prompts paired with devotionals
- 65 key Scripture verse pages for coloring and memorization
- 64 fun fact lists highlighting interesting facts for each book of the Bible
When I presented the Bible to my granddaughter, I asked her to spend a few minutes exploring the contents and then write down her thoughts. This was her response:
“I like that there is space for writing notes down. It will be fun to also color the Scriptures and pictures while reading my Bible. This Bible will help me to learn more about God and His love for us.” (Sophia, age 10)
This is a wonderful resource for preteen girls but I do think it will hold its appeal into the early teenage years. This Bible would make a beautiful gift and is sure to be well loved for many years.

It won’t be long before Sophia has a book-reviewing blog of her own!
Michele, you made me smile. How I pray for God’s purposes to be fulfilled in her life!
I love the cover. And 500 pictures to color. I am thinking I may want this bible myself.
We just bought my daughter an adult study Bible. She had outgrown her girl’s Bible, and wanted one like mine. However, this Bible sounds wonderful and I will share it with my sister who has an 8 year old daughter. I think she would love receiving this as a gift. Thank you so much for sharing about this.
This is a beautiful Bible. It would make a great gift for a young girl. Now if only I had some granddaughters! 🙂
How fun for you to get to review this book! Thanks for sharing this at Booknificent Thursday on Mommynificent.com!
