“You’re not “doing” anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you.” (Romans 10:10, MSG)
“Strong arms lift you up into the seat. You hold on tight to the chains. Seconds later, two hands press firmly on your back, propelling you forward.
You are swinging. And yet you are not swinging. You are being swung.
That’s what you do with God. You call out to Him and ask Him to save you. But you do not do the saving. He lifts you up, puts you on the path you are supposed to go on, and gives you a push. You just have to stay in the seat and trust Him.
Prayer: God, help me trust you more. Amen.”

I love this illustration! Need to file it in my memory bank.
Oh my…I would trust God but I’m not so sure I would trust the person pushing me or the swing itself.
Loved this. It simplifies everything.
Thank you for being you.

Trust seems be a bit of a theme in the posts I’m reading today. I guess God is giving me a much-needed reminder that He’s got it all under control.
Trust….be still and know I am God. Ps. 46:10…..
Beautiful posts such as this reinforce my faith! Thank you!
Also, thank you for your fabulous comment on the link up at a jar full of marigolds!
