“You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so.”
(Psalm 65:9, NLT)

“You, just like others, experience dry spells in your life …  You most likely hit spiritual dry spells as well – when God’s voice is hard to hear, when your prayers seem to go nowhere and your faith feels so small.

All you have to do in those times is hold out your empty, dry hands to God. Even if the only word you can manage to speak is “Help,” it is enough. Even if you cannot speak at all. God will answer your silent cries with living water – water that leads to eternal life. Water that leaves you wanting more of Him.

Prayer: Lord, water my dry land and enrich my life. Amen.
