“See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands.” (Joshua 6:2, NIV)
“It would be interesting to test out God’s battle strategy on some new military commanders today …
They never look like the ones you’d come up with – not in a million years. Love your enemies. Give more than what’s required. Sell all you have. Turn the other cheek. Give up your life to gain the world. Follow the star to see the poor baby who will be the king of creation. Watch an innocent man suffering and dying to save the world.
No, his plans don’t look like yours. Isn’t that a very good thing?
Prayer: Lord God, help me listen to Your plans for me – even when they don’t make sense. Amen.

Yes, I’m glad His plans don’t always look like mine. I would have missed out on a lot of blessings.
For sure, Julie, as would I!
His plans are always good, and are so often unexpected. Good word today!
Always!
Joanne,
No, His plans certainly don’t look like my plans and I am so glad He is sovereign and I am not. I love how nothing is outside God’s plans. What others mean for harm, He will use for good. What seems like a disaster can be turned into a testimony. Thanks for the reminder here this am.
Blessings sweet friend,
Bev xx
Bev, God surely has a way of working all things out in the most unexpected of ways. We need to remember that His heart towards us is always prompted by kindness. Blessings to you!
Even when they don’t make sense. Selah!
Yes, may we always keep trusting Him.
