“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, NLT)
God spoke to my heart and told me to remember that people are always watching how we live. A breakthrough was made.
When I am discouraged and thinking that I am not doing much here, I need to remember that people are watching. Am I showing people the love of Jesus as I go about my life, wherever I may be?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that You have give Jesus as the flawless example of how to live. I pray that my life and the lives of Christian workers will be a reflection of Christ’s love and compassion through our actions and words. Amen.

This hit me hard this morning. My kids are always watching how I live. I forget that sometimes…that both my actions and non-actions are there for them to observe and follow or not follow as the rule of thumb for life. Whew. I am praying over this that God will make my footsteps lead in the right direction.
It’s a sobering thought that people are watching how we live – even when we’re in the checkout line at the grocery store – or in the waiting room at the doctor’s office and she’s running over an hour behind. The witness of our lives can sometimes cancel the witness of our words.
Love this reminder and I really should print your post or do my own as a reminder. My problem is that I try more when I am out and about, but at home, I fall short. My husband is not a true believer, which in itself has been a struggle at times to combat his negativity on religion, but I do. However, my light does not always shine when I am around him as it should to be an inspiration for him to know that with the peace of Jesus, life is so much better. God has been reminding me of that lately so your scripture was surely a blessing reminder this morning. Thank you.

This is so important and convicting. God has been showing me a specific area where His love needs to be seen through me.
