“Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.” (Colossians 4:2, NLT)
God showed me that I should pray through even the small things.
God showed me that I should always expect a response.
He showed me that I should never be afraid to pray big.
Pray through even the small things, for He governs all aspects of our lives; pray always expecting a response, for He answers; and finally, never be afraid to pray big, for He displays His awesome power.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the awesome privilege of prayer. The lessons learned by this missionary are true, although my actions don’t always reinforce these truths. Help me to pray about all things. Amen.

Today I am joining … Spiritual Sundays and Scripture & a Snapshot .
I was JUST reminded of this yesterday! We need to pray through the little stuff too, if only to remind ourselves that God is in the small things and to see how he comes through, even then. Happy Sunday!
It’s true, Jamie. And I often find that as I see God at work in the small things, my faith grows to trust Him in the bigger things as well.
This is such a good reminder to pray about everything! Thank you, Joanne!
Elizabeth, I had a Sunday School teacher who used to say …
“Big and small.
Pray in them all. ”
š Have a great week!
It does seem that I tend to pray about the big things, but so true on praying constantly and giving thanks. Thanks for sharing. š

I think we all tend to pray regarding the bigger things. Yet it is as we see God’s answers to our prayers that our roots go deeper and we dare to trust Him more.
Amen!
Great reminder to pray without ceasing! Isn’t it wonderful that God cares about our little things too? š
It truly is, Kym. As we see God respond in the little things, we come to learn that everything that concerns us also concerns Him. And that is just amazing to me.
