“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10: 27, NLT)
“If a person is ever going to do anything worthwhile, there will be times when he must risk everything by his leap in the dark. In the spiritual realm, Jesus Christ demands that you risk everything you hold on to or believe through common sense, and leap by faith into what He says. Once you obey, you will immediately find that what He says is as solidly consistent as common sense.
Trust completely in God, and when He brings you to a new opportunity of adventure, offering it to you, see that you take it.”

It is so helpful to me to read words that describe this life of faith as an adventure! Thank you, Joanne!
I feel the same way. It so helps to remember faith is an adventure.
Great reminder! Fear holds me back too often from taking the leap but the couple of times I did leap, I was blessed beyond measure. I want to live my life leaping. I’ll b praying that God gives me the courage to do this. Sabbath blessings!
Mary, I am much the same way. I tend to let my fears hold me back. But oh the times I leaped, it was so worth it! May we both leap more!
That quote is wonderful, just what I needed! I love it with that adventurous hiking photo.
Thank you!
Loved that quote. Thanks for sharing.
I have trouble walking across the bedroom floor in the dark – lots of ouches. The idea of leaping, though, sounds so very liberating! Wonderful, motivational quote for the beginning of my week! Thank you, Joanne!
Yes, leaping in the dark can be difficult. May we remember that the darkness is light to Him.
