Another weekend is here. We have had more snow and there’s more to come. The arctic blast doesn’t seem as cold as it used to which I am taking as a sign I am getting used to it. Not saying I am liking it just getting used to it. Let me share some of my favorite reads this week and pour you a cup of hot chocolate, you deserve it!

1) Her child needed surgery. In this post, we read of the lesson learned. In fact, her son put it this way, “God is our hero over everything”.

2) We all love a good story – a testimony of quick, instantaneous change in the life of another. In this post is the beautiful story of a slow-burning faith. A faith lasting over the long haul which displays a testimony not of our faithfulness but of His faithfulness.

3) We often hear how the years fly by and how quickly our children are grown. As parents, our hope is to teach them to love God and His Word. Often the question which looms on our hearts is – Will they continue choosing the faith they have been taught? In this post, we read of three way to encourage our children to a life long faith.

4) Being a wife, a mom and a teacher is a sure fire combination for a day filled with frustrations. Life will always hold frustrating moments. In this post, we read it is all about how we face those frustrations.

5) Every marriage – no matter its length, strength or love – will face a crossroad at some point. The question looms big before us, “Do I still love my spouse?” And at times, the question may even be, “Can I still love my spouse?” In this post, Emily shares, “Falling back in love with our spouse is not impossible.”

There you have it – my random five for the week. May they speak into your heart and life encouraging you right where you are today!

Love,

Joanne
