I think we can often forget just how much God, indeed, does do for us each and every day. And so today, I am sharing this little reminder …
May the Strength of God guide us.
May the Power of God preserve us.
May the Wisdom of God instruct us.
May the Hand of God protect us.
May the Way of God direct us.
May the Shield of God defend us.
May the Angels of God guard us.
– Against the snares of the evil one.May Christ be with us!
May Christ be before us!
May Christ be in us,
Christ be over all!May Thy Grace, Lord,
Always be ours,
This day, O Lord, and forevermore. Amen.(a prayer of St. Patrick, who when a teenager was taken as a slave to Ireland)
“May Jesus himself and God our Father, who reached out in love and surprised you with gifts of unending help and confidence, put a fresh heart in you, invigorate your work, enliven your speech.” (2 Thessalonians 2: 16-17, MSG)
Today I am joining with … Still Saturday and Sunday Stillness and Spiritual Sundays and Scripture & a Snapshot .
Unending help and confidence! What a true gift. Much like the gift of you, my friend! Have a wonderful Lord’s day.
Thank you, Holly. Friendship is truly such a gift!
AMEN! Have a blessed week!
Praying the same for you, Barbie!
Filled with truth! He is all we can rely upon, and He is the One we should constantly be focusing upon, instead of the rest of the world issues. Thank you much.
We can rely on Him for all things. As we maintain our focus on Him, He will tend to the rest.
I love the simplicity of this prayer of devotion. All we need do is rest in Him, surrender to Him, submit to Him, obey Him, delight in Him.
Love your insight, Laura, as to what we need to do. Thanks for sharing that thought with me.
