Life can pass so quickly. The days can blend into one another so that a week, a month, geez – a whole year can just be one big blur. Yet each day can hold something that sets us wondering anew.
I recently read a story and wondered if it was even true. It was. Is that not both the strangest and most wild thing? It was about an 18 foot sea creature that needed 15 people to get it on shore. It was a rare find. One that has hardly been seen by very many marine biologists.
And it was created by our God, Who never ceases to astound us with His creation. You can read all about this wonder here. Today may you find yourself reminded…..
He holds wonders.
“You are the God of great wonders! (Psalm 77:14)

Hi Joanne
I think there are quite a few sea species that haven’t been identified by marine biologists!
Yes, just looking at the universe in its immensity makes me acutely aware of Pappa’s amazing power.

Amazing to think of all that He has created & astounds us with! Thanks for stopping here Mia. Praying you are doing well!!!
He certainly does hold wonders. I saw that sea creature picture on the Internet too and wondered if it was real! Thanks for a great reminder today!
I just could not believe it & had to do a little “investigating” 🙂 Absolutely unreal!
I truly love this. I, too, saw this picture… I am ashamed to say I did not marvel at the wonder of God’s creation! And oh! how I should have!! It is so true that He is the creator of all things and we should praise His holy name!! Thanks for the reminder!
(visiting from Winsome Wednesday)
I am not sure that I marveled at first. Freaked out may have been my first reaction 🙂 Only as I read the story did I find myself amazed. And then the light bulb went on to the vast creativity of our God & His wonders. Thank you for blessing me with your visit!
Love that verse, Joanne. That’s going in my journal tonight. 🙂
Lyli – That verse has blown me away. Look up the Hebrew word for ‘wonders’ – pala. Astounding. He is a God that amazes us, does the impossible & the difficult.
He is so amazing! Really…just blows me away at times. I saw that too last week. Amazing! I loved this reminder —> “Yet each day can hold something that sets us wondering anew.” This is how I’m approaching this new season…oh how I know He is going to do amazing things.Love you!
Beth – Praying that He not only is going to do amazing things in this season but that He does astounding, jaw dropping things in your life. May you come out of this season saying, “It was so worth it!”
Joanne, I saw this story too and like you, wondered if it was true. There is so much deception in the world today….for maybe no other reason than to just see who will believe it! Seeing something like this does make me wonder sometimes. But then I think that maybe God shows Himself like this because so many people think they have it all figured out. It looks like God is showing off to me!!
Wow! Pretty amazing! Such a testimony to the Creator that we are still discovering his creation! Thanks for linking up with me!
