My prayer this morning….
Be thou a bright flame before me,
Be thou a guiding star above me,
Be thou a smooth path below me,
Be thou a kindly shepherd behind me,
Today – tonight – and forever.(a prayer of Saint Columbia, an Irish monk and missionary)
“Like a shepherd he tends his flock; he gathers up the lambs with his arm; he carries them close to his heart; he leads the ewes along.” (Isaiah 40:11 NET).
Today I am linked with these lovely blogs….. Sunday Stillness and Still Saturday and Spiritual Sundays and The Sunday Community and Scripture and a Snapshot .
Joining you in that prayer! The peace of God be with you.
And you as well !
How beautiful! I have loved some of the Irish words. (Maybe because I am part Irish, but most likely due to their beauty.)
May we know Him as Shepherd as we walk this path as His sheep.
Caring through Christ, ~ linda

I love to see Jesus as the head shepherd. I feel so protected and comforted by this. Makes me want to reread Hinds Feet too! Have a blessed Sunday!
