Longing For A Stream

Eternal Trinity, you are a deep sea,
into which the more I enter the more I find,
and the more I find the more I seek.
The soul ever hungers in your abyss, Eternal Trinity,
longing to see you with the light of your light,
and as the deer yearns for the springs of water,
so my soul yearns to see you in truth.

    Oh my! I love this photo. The deer is such a beautiful animal, and this photo is so apropos for this scripture.

    Yes, this picture captures the heart of that famous psalm beautifully! Yes, once we have drank from yhe Streams of Living Waters, we cannot live without drinking again and again!

    I love the song that says, “As the deer panteth for the water, so my sould longeth after Thee. You alone are my soul’s desire and I long to worship Thee.” Thank you for this moment of reflection and worship.

    The picture is awesome. I used a picture of a deer for one of my scriptures too but this picture paints exactly what the psalmist is saying I think. Thanks for linking to Sunday Stillness.
