“Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life … Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20a, MSG)
There are many who have never been told of the God who loves and cares about every detail of their life.
Determination to reach those around us before it’s too late is real. We never know when a loved one, acquaintance or friend might die. Today is the day for salvation.
Prayer: Father, give me an opportunity to speak to someone today who needs to hear about Jesus before it’s too late. Let the Gospel be spread, so that many may come to Christ. Amen.

Today I am joining … Spiritual Sundays and Scripture & a Snapshot and Open Sunday Thoughts .
Oh, my goodness, Joanne, this is so timely for us. Yesterday, a friend showed up in our driveway while I was outside bringing in the laundry. Completely startled me! She recently had surgery for removal of cancerous mass, and — long story short — my husband had the opportunity to ask her if she knew Jesus. That had been on our minds since we learned of her illness, and we were so relieved to know that she is ready to meet Him if that is His plan.
Michele, thank you for sharing! I almost did not share the post. Now I am so glad I did. Praying for your neighbor today.
I love quiet Sondays…glad to see you on these linkups – I’ve been linking there also but usually I do the linkup on Monday but today…
I don’t pray this prayer enough.”Prayer: Father, give me an opportunity to speak to someone today who needs to hear about Jesus before it’s too late. Let the Gospel be spread, so that many may come to Christ. Amen.”
Thank you for sharing this on the #SundayThoughts link up. I tend to focus inward, not necessarily on myself but on my family, those in my immediate circle…they are my people. But I need reminding that ALL people are my people.
We may just be that one drop a seed may need to flourish 🙂 I am so enjoying joining you, Jamie!
I am currently praying for an opportunity to share with a neighbor who is battling cancer.
I prayed for your neighbor and for God to provide that opportunity for you to share as He knows when the time is best.
One of the most beautiful photos ever. So appropriate for the Scripture. As Jamie said, most of us tend to focus inward. I pray I have the opportunity to plant the seed this week.
A prayer to start each day with. Amen!
