“God doesn’t just speak to hear the sound of His own voice. He speaks in order to accomplish.”
Lord, please help me to be like Abraham who, by faith, when called to go to a place he would later receive as an inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going (Hebrews 11:8). Help me not to miss future blessings because I refuse to go to a place with You that I’ve never been before.
Father, I desire to fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of my faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning it shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrew 12:2).
Cause my faith to continue to grow, O Lord (2 Corinthians 10:15).

Finding that place of blind faith and full surrender? Ooooh that’s hard! But God is always guiding us towards that, and it starts with a prayer and a little decision to surrender each day!
Jen, you are so right – it is hard! But can you imagine what would happen in our lives if we truly come to that place! So praying!
Having blind faith – what a hard task. I guess we learn a little more each day.
It is a most hard task to accomplish. But as you wrote, a little more today than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow 🙂 May we pray that it is so!
Oh, I have Beth’s book, I need to pull it back up on my Kindle!!
It is such a good book to go back to. I know I am glad I have pulled it out again.
I need to remember that for myself…don’t speak just to hear the sound of your voice! Great post – visiting from #write31days.
Oh, if that is not the truth here as well 🙂
